1. API key

Create a project in the Aether app and generate an API key for this project.

2. Environment variable

Store the key in your server environment as AETHER_API_KEY without writing it in the source code.

3. Compress request

Send the context and current query to the /v1/compress endpoint with level: auto.

4. Use the result

Replace the data.compressed field with the input from your existing LLM call.
